Christiani’s mission in life is to use the gifts God has given her to pursue her love and passion for the arts; not just to entertain but to inspire.

CHRISTIANI PITTS began her career as a performer at the early age of 8 in Montclair, NJ when she performed in her first musical Once On This Island as young Timoune. After feeling the bright lights hit her face and the stage beneath her feet, she knew a life of entertainment was what she wanted to pursue.

Christiani spent the next 5 years of her life performing in the Mid-Atlantic States in theatre, film and dance. She trained in and performed African Dance under the direction of Artistic Director Karen L. Love and Assistant Director Rhonda Holland-Thomas with the Usaama Dance Company.  She performed in various theatre productions at The Luna Stage. For her first work on camera, she filmed a mini book and video series for Scholastic Magic and Fun and a  Radika Journal Disney Commercial.  Christiani attended a performing arts elementary and middle school in Montclair. NJ. At the age of 13 she moved to Atlanta, GA to enroll in the North Atlanta High school School of The Arts and record her first self-entitled studio EP. She continued to perform throughout high school in various productions like Sandy in Grease, Aida in Aida and Sharpay in High School Musical 2 in which she received a Best Actress Nomination from the 2011 Shular Awards.

She later became the captain of the Silver Star traveling dance team, was a principal dancer in the African American Dance Review at the Realto Theatre in Atlanta, GA, Chris appeared in two movies while living in Atlanta, Ga:  ‘Drumline’ and ‘Big Momma’s House 3: Like Father Like Son.’

In 2011 she was accepted into the BFA Music Theatre program at The Florida State University. She spent the past four years rigorously training and honing her craft. During the summer, when not taking class she was performing in several professional theatre companies across the United States. This past summer she worked at The Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw, IN as Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins and then flew straight to Greenville, SC to star as Mimi in the hit musical Rent. She will be heading to Music Theatre Wichita in May to play the role of Nehebka in Aida and set as sail as a lead singer for the Norwegian Cruise Line out of Boston.

Christiani’s mission in life is to use the gifts God has given her to pursue her love and passion for the arts; not just to entertain but to inspire. Raised to believe ‘to those whom much is given, much is required she looks forward to the journey to leave the world better than she found it.
